BasketsGalore's Big Move - Revised Delivery Schedule

July 12-16th BasketsGalore's Big Move

Hi Folks,

Over the past few years BasketsGalore has been steadily growing (with a lot of hard work) and we have moved premises a couple of times to help improve operations & bring you the best service possible.

We last moved our Headquarters in October 2007 & this July (12-16th July 2012) we have decided to coincide our move with a public holiday to minimise disruption to our delivery service. We aren't moving far (just across town), but gift baskets, hampers, boxes and all the stock take up a lot of room so it is going to take us a while to pack up here, move everything & unpack at the other end!

This means that unfortunately there will be no deliveries available on Friday 13th July & Monday 16th July. There will also be no deliveries to Northern Ireland on 12th July due to the Public Holiday. We will email to advise anyone who orders to NI for this date, as unfortunately we can’t turn it off in the calendar when deliveries to other regions are still OK on that date.

Please see the delivery schedule below:

Thursday 12th July – No Deliveries to Northern Ireland, BG office closed
Friday 13th July – No Deliveries, BG office closed
Saturday 14th July – No Deliveries
Monday 16th July – No Deliveries, but dispatches resume & BG office open
Tuesday 17th July – Normal Service resumes

As a Thank You

To thank you for your understanding, a complimentary chunky chocolate fudge will be included with all orders placed during this period & we will also upgrade all deliveries to the express service for dispatch on Monday 16th July (delivery Tuesday 17th)

We would like to thank you for your continued custom and please just drop us an email if you have any queries, as we can often still reply with email support.

See you on the other side!

Kind regards,

The BGie Team

Ciséain Go Leor Customer Announcement - Covid 19

Update Wednesday 2nd September 2020We have been comfortably keeping pace with the demand for our Gift Baskets throughout the Summer of 2020.  However, customers will be aware that we are still only offering a weekly delivery schedule. The reason for this has been our need to amend our facilities and train new staff in our operating processes for the Winter. The biggest change has been the creation of a second order processing area, which is necessary to create 2 separate staff shifts minimising risk of spreading the virus throughout the company. Therefore to complete the works quickly and to create work teams, which act as independent units, at the same time as launching an entirely new website (we like to keep busy), we will not be dispatching orders between Thursday 3rd September and Friday 11th September. All orders received from lunchtime on  2nd September will be dispatched between the Monday-Wednesday of the week commencing 14th September. We trust this does not cause too much of an …

Hen Night Gifts Ireland

A few of us in the office were away on my hen weekend recently & it inspired us to create a new range of hen night gifts.

We had noticed people ordering pamper hampers or wine & chocolate gift baskets for hen night presents before, but until now we haven't had gifts designed especially for hen do's.

Hen Night gifts are popular to send if you are unable to make the hen night, but still want to be a part of it & show you are thinking of them.

They are also good to have as an arrival treat in your hotel room, apartment or B&B. Some companies that book hen activities or weekends, like to offer a Hen Gift Basket as an arrival gift.

Our Hen Party Gift Baskets typically include some bubbly or wine cooler drinks, sweets, crisps, snacks, nuts & lots of chocolates to share! We have also included a few cheeky accessories for the blushing bride, such as 'Bride To Be' sashes & pink fluffy L Plates! So basically everything the hens need to get the party started!

Chocolate Gift Delivery in Ireland

Chocolate Gifts in Ireland

Basketsgalore customers may be interested in a few new additions to our range of gift baskets within Ireland. Taking our inspiration from the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland, which caused the closure of much of Ireland's airspace for several days, we have created several chocolatey gifts.

This range of gifts all have the dark brown deep base basket, which contains chocolate brown paper to maintain the chocolate effect. The Gift leads with a really delicious Chocolate & Toffee Spread and a Chocolate Sauce. These products are new from a small producer in Ballyshiel, county Offaly and the smooth taste on the palate simply excites the taste buds. In keeping with the theme, freshly baked Rock Buns and all butter shortbread from county Antrim are included in case you want to cover them in chocolate. These biscuits are chunky and substantial, so you can really pile as much of the chocolate sauces as is possible onto them without fear of them breaking.
