Mother's Day & St Patrick's Day Weekend

Wow, what a busy few days we have had with orders for Mother's Day & St. Patrick's Day!

We dispatched hundreds of orders on Wednesday & yesterday, for delivery today and the orders are still coming in now.

Unfortunately the courier companies do not offer a Saturday delivery option in Ireland, so any remaining orders are being dispatched today for delivery next week.

Normally items dispatched on a Friday are delivered on Monday, but due to the St Patrick's Day Public Holiday there will be no deliveries on Monday 19th March. Therefore any orders dispatched today will hopefully arrive on Tuesday 20th March, when the couriers re-open.

If you order a perishable basket containing salmon, fruit etc today we are advising these are not dispatched until next week so as they arrive freshly overnight. If we sent them today they would be in transit for quite a few days due to the extended weekend and we want your friends & family to receive their gift basket in top condition.

There are also no collections on Monday 19th, due to the Public Holiday, so any orders to Ireland placed on Friday evening (post 3pm) & over the weekend will be dispatched on Tuesday 20th March & therefore delivered on Wednesday 21st.

We can't turn the dates off in the calendar as deliveries to the UK are still available on Mon/Tuesday, so apologies for any inconvenience caused. We do endeavour to email anyone who places an order ASAP to explain the delivery options when a holiday occurs or to offer an alternative gift.

We can also include a note of apology with your gift basket to explain the delay was due to the Public Holiday, so as not to get you in trouble!

Thanks for your understanding with this matter and we wish you all a fantastic Mothering Sunday & St. Patrick's weekend!

The BG ie Team

Christmas Hampers Ireland 2019

Christmas Shopping Begins This is our 16th year of packing Christmas Hampers, the 8th Christmas in our current facility. Our hampers are distinctive because we work ever so hard throughout the year to investigate new concepts and introduce new combinations. It is our mission to extract value through efficiencies of scale and operation, so that our customers are delighted with their Gift Hampers and Baskets. This invariably attracts the attention of those who understand the difficulty of packing and producing hampers and ask us to apply our gift packing skills. October and early November are extremely busy months for us as we contract pack other organisation’s Christmas hampers so they can appear in their shops. But from this moment on, we get to test the desirability of our gift creations which we developed in March. Christmas Hamper Offers For 2019 we have more than 200 Christmas Hampers available for purchase as a gift, but truth be told, ther

BasketsGalore's Big Move - Revised Delivery Schedule

July 12-16 th BasketsGalore's Big Move Hi Folks, Over the past few years BasketsGalore has been steadily growing (with a lot of hard work) and we have moved premises a couple of times to help improve operations & bring you the best service possible. We last moved our Headquarters in October 2007 & this July (12-16 th July 2012) we have decided to coincide our move with a public holiday to minimise disruption to our delivery service. We aren't moving far (just across town), but gift baskets, hampers, boxes and all the stock take up a lot of room so it is going to take us a while to pack up here, move everything & unpack at the other end! This means that unfortunately there will be no deliveries available on Friday 13 th July & Monday 16 th July. There will also be no deliveries to Northern Ireland on 12 th July due to the Public Holiday. We will email to advise anyone who orders to NI for this date, as unfortunately we can’t turn it off in the calendar when

BasketsGalore - St Patrick's Day Delivery Update

Customer Announcement – No Deliveries Within Ireland on 17th March Just a quick reminder that unfortunately there will be  no deliveries within Ireland and Northern Ireland on Monday 17th March  2014, due to the St Patrick’s Day holiday. St Patrick’s Day is a national holiday in Ireland so all businesses and schools tend to be closed, including the courier company we use for our deliveries. This means if you would like a gift basket to be delivered in time for  St Patrick's Day  you will need to  order by 3 pm on Thursday 13th March  (at the latest), so it will arrive on Friday 14th March. There are no weekend deliveries available either. Any orders placed on Friday 13th will be scheduled for delivery on Tuesday 18th, providing they have non-perishable contents. Any baskets ordered containing perishable items (such as fruit & salmon) cannot be dispatched until Tuesday 18th, for Wednesday 19th arrival. We will endeavour to email any customers who place perishable orders d
