Customer Announcement

You may be wondering why the next available delivery date is showing as Wednesday 14th July.

This is because BasketsGalore is expanding its office space and refurbishing the packaging & dispatch area, so unfortunately will be unable to process orders on Monday 12th July. We will be dispatching orders to Ireland & the UK again on Tuesday 13th July.

So if you order any time on Saturday, Sunday or Monday we will dispatch your gift on Tuesday or Wednesday on a 24 hour delivery basis. We made the decision to carry out any works over this weekend, as it also coincides with the 12th July Public holiday.

If you are happy for us to dispatch your Gift Basket on Tuesday 13th or Wednesday 14th July, we would like to thank you by offering the following treats:

1) An Upgrade to the Express Delivery service at no extra cost
2) 2 x Complimentary bars of Chocolate Garden Handmade Luxury Chocolate to be included in your gift basket

This applies to ALL GIFT BASKETS ordered over this period.

Additional Information

BasketsGalore have moved premises quite a few times in the past few years as we have continued to grow. On this occasion we are improving the warehouse logistics and increasing our office space for efficiency purposes. We greatly apologise to our customers for the inconvenience, but unfortunately it is a necessity.

As we strive to produce greater efficiencies within our operations, it has become apparent that additional space & enhanced operations are required to keep individual unit costs down. New procedures have been implemented, which will enable us to process more orders in a faster period of time.

The result will be lower prices and a better online shopping experience. We would like to thank you all for your understanding and co-operation as we continue to grow.

Yours faithfully,

BasketsGalore

Chocolate Gift Delivery in Ireland

Chocolate Gifts in Ireland Basketsgalore customers may be interested in a few new additions to our range of gift baskets within Ireland. Taking our inspiration from the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland, which caused the closure of much of Ireland's airspace for several days, we have created several chocolatey gifts. This range of gifts all have the dark brown deep base basket, which contains chocolate brown paper to maintain the chocolate effect. The Gift leads with a really delicious Chocolate & Toffee Spread and a Chocolate Sauce. These products are new from a small producer in Ballyshiel, county Offaly and the smooth taste on the palate simply excites the taste buds. In keeping with the theme, freshly baked Rock Buns and all butter shortbread from county Antrim are included in case you want to cover them in chocolate. These biscuits are chunky and substantial, so you can really pile as much of the chocolate sauces as is possible onto them without fear of them breaking. Th...

Christmas Hampers Ireland 2019

Christmas Shopping Begins This is our 16th year of packing Christmas Hampers, the 8th Christmas in our current facility. Our hampers are distinctive because we work ever so hard throughout the year to investigate new concepts and introduce new combinations. It is our mission to extract value through efficiencies of scale and operation, so that our customers are delighted with their Gift Hampers and Baskets. This invariably attracts the attention of those who understand the difficulty of packing and producing hampers and ask us to apply our gift packing skills. October and early November are extremely busy months for us as we contract pack other organisation’s Christmas hampers so they can appear in their shops. But from this moment on, we get to test the desirability of our gift creations which we developed in March. Christmas Hamper Offers For 2019 we have more than 200 Christmas Hampers available for purchase as a gift, but truth be told, ther...

Celebration Gifts For Her

If you are looking for an uplifting, celebratory gift for your Mum (or another important lady) then look no further as you have found the perfect range of gifts. Designed with a celebration in mind, the focal point of these Gift Baskets is the full size bottle of Prosecco for toasting the occasion. In Italy, Prosecco is an extremely popular white wine. Outside Italy, it is most often drunk as an apĂ©ritif, much as Champagne is. As with other sparkling wines, Prosecco is served chilled.  Prosecco can be sparkling, semi-sparkling or still, with the Sparkling (Spumante) version being the most popular. Prosecco is made from Glera grapes (formerly known as Prosecco) whereas Champagne is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Unlike Champagne, Prosecco does not ferment in the bottle, and it grows stale with time so is best drunk young! (Source: Wikipedia) The overall aim for BasketsGalore's Gifts For Mothers & Wome...
