Fruit Gift Baskets Galore

Think of summer time foods, and you may think of picnic lunches, cold drinks and fresh fruit. Unfortunately our summer seems to have been & gone already!!

While it was sunny we came over all fruity at BG and introduced a new range of fruit themed gift baskets.

Traditionally our fruit gifts have consisted of a mixture of fresh fruit, biscuits or cakes to make a sweet fruit basket or fresh fruit, cheese & crackers to make a savoury fruit basket. These have proved very popular over the years, as the recipients get a mixture of a healthy & tasty fruit gift.

Fruit & Chocolate Gift Basket - £45/€54

Fruit & Cheese Gift Basket - £45/€54

Mixed fruit gift baskets containing the small fruit collection generally consist of 2 types of apples, clementine oranges and red & green grapes. The medium fruit collection has the apples, clementines and grapes again but with the addition of navel oranges, plums, kiwis or pears. Our larger fruit collection consists of all of these and also pineapple, melon, mango and passion fruit.

We were increasingly being asked for "all fruit" gift baskets and so have introduced a number of these to the range too. These 'all fruit' or 'majority fruit' baskets consist of the large fruit collection with added extra's such as blueberries, coconuts and more exotic fruits, fruit juice or coconut water. We find certain fruits such as strawberries, banana's & peaches do not travel well, so tend not to include these in case the recipients should receive slightly bruised fruit.

Fruit Oasis Gift Basket - £39.99/€47.99

Extra Fruity Gift Basket - £39.99/€47.99

You can also create your own fruit basket if you wish as we have listed various fruit collections on an individual basis. We just ask that you don't pick a Monday as a delivery day for a fresh fruit basket. To meet a Monday delivery the basket needs to be dispatched on the previous Friday. We don't like to dispatch fresh fruit hampers on a Friday, just in case they don't arrive entirely fresh on the Monday. We prefer to dispatch them Monday-Thursday on an overnight service to minimise the transport time and so as the recipient receives a lovely, fresh fruit basket.

Thanks for reading about our new fruit basket range. As always if you have a special request or idea for a gift just drop us an email & we'll be happy to help! We once had a request for a basket of lemons, and only lemons! That would have left a sour taste in the recipients mouth!!

Christmas Hampers Ireland 2019

Christmas Shopping Begins This is our 16th year of packing Christmas Hampers, the 8th Christmas in our current facility. Our hampers are distinctive because we work ever so hard throughout the year to investigate new concepts and introduce new combinations. It is our mission to extract value through efficiencies of scale and operation, so that our customers are delighted with their Gift Hampers and Baskets. This invariably attracts the attention of those who understand the difficulty of packing and producing hampers and ask us to apply our gift packing skills. October and early November are extremely busy months for us as we contract pack other organisation’s Christmas hampers so they can appear in their shops. But from this moment on, we get to test the desirability of our gift creations which we developed in March. BasketsGalore's Big Move - Revised Delivery Schedule

July 12-16 th BasketsGalore's Big Move Hi Folks, Over the past few years BasketsGalore has been steadily growing (with a lot of hard work) and we have moved premises a couple of times to help improve operations & bring you the best service possible. We last moved our Headquarters in October 2007 & this July (12-16 th July 2012) we have decided to coincide our move with a public holiday to minimise disruption to our delivery service. We aren't moving far (just across town), but gift baskets, hampers, boxes and all the stock take up a lot of room so it is going to take us a while to pack up here, move everything & unpack at the other end! This means that unfortunately there will be no deliveries available on Friday 13 th July & Monday 16 th July. There will also be no deliveries to Northern Ireland on 12 th July due to the Public Holiday. We will email to advise anyone who orders to NI for this date, as unfortunately we can’t turn it off in the calendar when
