Mother's Day Gifts...again?

Only a month or so ago you would have noticed us talking about Mother's Day (Sunday 3rd April), yet here we are blogging about it again already!

This is because the majority of countries around the world actually celebrate Mothering Sunday on the 2nd Sunday in May & this year that means Sunday 8th May (yes this Sunday!) The list below shows all the countries who celebrate in May, whereas in Ireland & the UK we celebrate on the 4th Sunday of Lent:

* Anguilla
* Aruba
* Australia
* Austria
* Bahamas
* Barbados
* Bangladesh
* Belgium
* Belize
* Bermuda
* Bonaire
* Brazil
* Canada
* Chile
* China
* Colombia
* Cuba
* Croatia
* Curaçao
* Czech Republic
* Denmark
* Ecuador
* Estonia
* Finland
* Germany
* Greece
* Grenada
* Honduras
* Hong Kong
* Iceland
* Italy
* Jamaica
* Japan
* Latvia
* Malta
* Malaysia
* Netherlands
* New Zealand
* Peru
* Philippines
* Puerto Rico
* Singapore
* Slovakia
* South Africa
* Suriname
* Switzerland
* Taiwan
* Trinidad and Tobago
* Turkey
* United States
* Uruguay
* Venezuela
* Zimbabwe

Of course there are countries who celebrate at other times besides March/April or May. In Thailand, for example, it is on 12th August, as this is Queen Sirikit Kitiyakara's birthday!

If your mum is living in Ireland or Britain then why not celebrate the May Mother's Day by sending her a lovely card & pressie. It is also very handy if you forgot to send something on the UK date! We have lots of Mother's Day gift baskets to choose from & each is sent with your personalised gift card message.

We can also deliver to Europe from as little as €22.99 remember. We noticed a few European countries (like Belgium & Germany) also celebrate Mother's Day on May 8th, so there is still time to send your Mothers Day gift today.

Remember...Mum's the word!

Ciséain Go Leor Customer Announcement - Covid 19

Update Wednesday 2nd September 2020We have been comfortably keeping pace with the demand for our Gift Baskets throughout the Summer of 2020.  However, customers will be aware that we are still only offering a weekly delivery schedule.The reason for this has been our need to amend our facilities and train new staff in our operating processes for the Winter.The biggest change has been the creation of a second order processing area, which is necessary to create 2 separate staff shifts minimising risk of spreading the virus throughout the company.Therefore to complete the works quickly and to create work teams, which act as independent units, at the same time as launching an entirely new website (we like to keep busy), we will not be dispatching orders between Thursday 3rd September and Friday 11th September.All orders received from lunchtime on  2nd September will be dispatched between the Monday-Wednesday of the week commencing 14th September.We trust this does not cause too much of an …

Hen Night Gifts Ireland

A few of us in the office were away on my hen weekend recently & it inspired us to create a new range of hen night gifts.

We had noticed people ordering pamper hampers or wine & chocolate gift baskets for hen night presents before, but until now we haven't had gifts designed especially for hen do's.

Hen Night gifts are popular to send if you are unable to make the hen night, but still want to be a part of it & show you are thinking of them.

They are also good to have as an arrival treat in your hotel room, apartment or B&B. Some companies that book hen activities or weekends, like to offer a Hen Gift Basket as an arrival gift.

Our Hen Party Gift Baskets typically include some bubbly or wine cooler drinks, sweets, crisps, snacks, nuts & lots of chocolates to share! We have also included a few cheeky accessories for the blushing bride, such as 'Bride To Be' sashes & pink fluffy L Plates! So basically everything the hens need to get the party started!

Chocolate Gift Delivery in Ireland

Chocolate Gifts in Ireland

Basketsgalore customers may be interested in a few new additions to our range of gift baskets within Ireland. Taking our inspiration from the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland, which caused the closure of much of Ireland's airspace for several days, we have created several chocolatey gifts.

This range of gifts all have the dark brown deep base basket, which contains chocolate brown paper to maintain the chocolate effect. The Gift leads with a really delicious Chocolate & Toffee Spread and a Chocolate Sauce. These products are new from a small producer in Ballyshiel, county Offaly and the smooth taste on the palate simply excites the taste buds. In keeping with the theme, freshly baked Rock Buns and all butter shortbread from county Antrim are included in case you want to cover them in chocolate. These biscuits are chunky and substantial, so you can really pile as much of the chocolate sauces as is possible onto them without fear of them breaking.
