Christmas is a'coming!

Ho ho ho, it is definitely that time of year when our annual newsletter goes out! Yes only 36 days til Christmas now. We sent an email update last week to let all our lovely customers know our 2010 Christmas gift baskets are available to order now!

Just because you order now, doesn't mean your gift will be shipped now. You can pick the special Christmas delivery option & also a preferred delivery date using the calendar at checkout. We try to stick as closely as possible to your preferred date, but generally operate by delivery week in December.

Wk 1 is the week beginning 29th November
Wk 2 is the week beginning 6th December
Wk 3 is the week beginning 13th December
Wk 4 is the week beginning 20th December

So if you pick a preferred date of 9th December, we will aim to dispatch your hamper during Week 2 (6th-10th Dec). We hope you understand with SO many hampers being dispatched during a short period of time it can be difficult to deliver on exact dates at this time of year. Good news...Christmas falls on a Saturday this year, so it gives us almost a full working week for deliveries requested in week 4.

We generally don't recommend requesting delivery very close to Christmas (end of week 4), as the recipient may not be home to sign for the gift basket & need time to re-arrange delivery.

We will email you when your Christmas gift is dispatched so you know it is on it's way. Delivery then takes place within 1-2 days. Or 2-5 days for orders to Europe. You can let the recipient know to expect something then if you wish then, or track the delivery yourself & see when it is signed for.

We will of course continue to dispatch birthday gifts, get well gifts & baby gift baskets etc throughout December so simply pick the standard or express delivery options if ordering a non-Christmas gift. This way we will now you would prefer delivery ASAP rather than for Christmas.

Keep checking back here for news & updates and please just drop us an email or livechat if you have any questions.

Hen Night Gifts Ireland

A few of us in the office were away on my hen weekend recently & it inspired us to create a new range of hen night gifts . We had noticed people ordering pamper hampers or wine & chocolate gift baskets for hen night presents before, but until now we haven't had gifts designed especially for hen do's. Hen Night gifts are popular to send if you are unable to make the hen night, but still want to be a part of it & show you are thinking of them. They are also good to have as an arrival treat in your hotel room, apartment or B&B. Some companies that book hen activities or weekends, like to offer a Hen Gift Basket as an arrival gift. Our Hen Party Gift Baskets typically include some bubbly or wine cooler drinks, sweets, crisps, snacks, nuts & lots of chocolates to share! We have also included a few cheeky accessories for the blushing bride, such as 'Bride To Be' sashes & pink fluffy L Plates! So basically everything the hens need to get the part

Flowers For Mum Gifts

Our most popular Gift Basket For Mum of all time has to be 'Mother's Day Flowers & Treats'. This is actually kind of amusing as it is somewhat against our original aim to be the "alternative to flowers". Instead of ignoring flowers completely, as let's face it they are still an extremely popular choice of gift, we decided to embrace them in a different manner. Rather than trying to compete with local florists who will always be able to present a more attractive bouquet than one having to travel through a delivery network, we came up with the idea of a flowering PLANT. This attractive floral plant could then accompany a smaller basket of treats to provide the end receiver the best of both worlds. Historically the 'Mother's Day Flowers & Treats' gift was pitched at a discounted, popular price point and it would be updated slightly each year for repeat Customers. The focus of the basket was on food and this was accompanied by a pretty fl
